Open Wii
The Open Wii is an open source Modchip similar to the
Chiip.
This
means you have to physically build the chip from the list of required components
on the Open Wii website. It is a cheap option of obtaining a Modchip
although you will require a good knowledge of electrical components and also
soldering skills.
In order to flash the Chiip with the 
appropriate firmware you need to build
the programmer which is parallel port based. For full
